FAQ — General
Does Flowity require an account?

No account, no login. Open the web app or install the Figma plugin and start generating immediately.

How does the web app work?

Open create.flowity.app, pick a style, customize your colors, generate, and download your SVG or PNG — all in the browser, no install required.

How does the Figma plugin work?

Install Flowity from the Figma Community, open it inside any Figma file, and generate SVG art directly onto your canvas. No exporting or importing required.

Why does every result look different?

Flowity uses algorithmic generation — each run applies randomness within your chosen style, so every output is unique. Regenerate as many times as you like until you get exactly what you need.

FAQ — Using SVGs on the web
What SVG format does Flowity export?

Flowity exports standard SVG 1.1 files with clean markup — no proprietary tags, no embedded scripts. They work inline, as <img> tags, as CSS backgrounds, or imported directly into Figma.

Can I use Flowity SVGs on my website?

Yes. Download the SVG and use it as a background image, inline SVG element, or CSS background-image. Because it's a vector, it scales perfectly to any screen size or resolution.

Can I use Flowity SVGs commercially?

Yes. SVGs generated with Flowity are free to use for personal and commercial projects — websites, apps, client work, merchandise, and print. No attribution required.

Are Flowity SVGs responsive / scalable?

Yes. All exports are vector SVG — they scale perfectly at any resolution with no quality loss. Set width: 100%; height: auto and they adapt to any container.

How do I customize colors before downloading?

Open the web app, pick a style, and use the palette controls to set your colors before generating. You can regenerate as many times as you want until you get the result you need.

Can I edit the SVG after downloading?

Yes. Open the SVG in Figma, Illustrator, Inkscape, or any SVG editor to modify colors, strokes, or individual shapes. The output is clean, standard SVG with no proprietary dependencies.
